Donald Joseph “Donny” Manseau, age 73 a lifetime resident of Virginia died Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in the Waterview Woods Care Center. He was born May 8, 1946 in Virginia, the son of H. F. and Mildred (LaFond) Manseau, Jr. and was a 1965 graduate of Virginia Roosevelt High School. Donny was an entrepreneur, owning and operating several business, most notably Manseau’s Range Music. He will be remembered for his love of baseball, his unrestricted laugh, and his lack of a “filter”. Donny lived large, and loved the same way.
Donald is survived by his sweetie of 22 years: Kathy Bement of Princeton; sons: Deron (Renee) Manseau of Mandan, ND and Dustin Manseau of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren: Jamee (Drake) Waters of Mountain Iron, Emma Baker of Longview, WA, and Cody Albro of Mandan; great-grandson: Liam Waters; siblings: Mary Churchill of Overland Park, KS and Cathy (Bruce) Burton of Pensacola, FL; the mother if his children: Babs Allis of Virginia; Kathy’s children: Cherie (Kurt) Grutzmacher, Keith (Vivian) Lehman, and Michelle (Martin) Cunningham; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: James Manseau and Bubs Manseau; niece: Lyn Marie Manseau-Sauceda; and great-nephew James Manseau III.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Virginia Elks Club.
