Flynn D. Adams, age 49, longtime resident of Hibbing died Monday, May 13, 2024, at Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Duluth. He was born March 26, 1975 in Palatka, Florida the son of Tyronne and Gail Adams. He was a graduate of Cotton High School.
Flynn was a craftsman – building log homes and creating designer jewelry. He was an agate enthusiast, a published poet, avid photographer, and a drummer. He was a fierce warrior conquering many medical battles. He loved basketball, football, and his family. He was a kind soul who was generous to many.
Flynn is survived by his mother: Gail Adams; brother Sam (Abby) Adams, sisters: Shelly (Scott) Hanson and April (Josh) Waldhoff; cousins: Jeff Reed, Jenny (Jared) Weinreis; goddaughter & niece: Madison (Jesse) Kahl; nieces & nephews: Taylor (Dani) Skalsky, Tanner (Joselyn) Nowak, Chaym (Riley) Adams, Zaraely (Josh) Adams, Tytus Adams, Spencer Harstad, Brooklynn Waldhoff, Boston Waldhoff, and Jersey Goerdt; great niece: Paisley Skalsky; great nephews: Randall and Kai Adams; and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Howard and Joyce Reed; nephews: Isaiah Adams and Travis Nowak; father: Tyronne Adams; and uncle Clark Reed.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Flynn’s kidney donor, Andy Borchert, whose generosity extended Flynn’s life.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service Monday, May 20, 2024, at The Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel.
