Gary A. Komula, age 80, longtime resident of Virginia, MN, and formerly of Hibbing, MN, and Cape Fair, MO, died Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at The Waterview Woods in Eveleth, MN.  He was born December 19, 1942, in Hibbing, MN, the son of Arvid and Mayme (Hannuksela) Komula.  He was a graduate of Hibbing High School and Dunwoody Institute.  Gary was united in marriage to Charlene (Francis) Packa on November 23, 1996, in Branson, MO.

            Gary is survived by his wife: Charlene; daughter: Sandra Komula of Hibbing, MN; sister: Kathy (Roger) Rosand of Proctor, MN; and grandson: David T. Komula of Chicago, IL.

            A private service will be held at a later date.
