Greig Lowell Bergman

Greig Lowell Bergman, age 71 of Virginia died Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in the Waterview Woods Care Center in Eveleth. He was born December 16, 1951 in Slayton, MN the son of Herbert and Vera (Gudmundson) Bergman. Greig was employed as power plant operator for the Virginia Public Utilities. He was a member of the NRA, the Boy Scouts, and an ATV- 4 Wheeler club. He enjoyed woodworking, his dogs, SCUBA diving, carpentry and remodeling.

Greig is survived by siblings: Marsha (Bruce) Longrie of Virginia and Bruce (Ophelia) Bergman of New Brighton; nieces and nephews: Daniel, Joseph, Michaela, Pamela, Florence, Karinn, Francis, and Ray Michael; extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in the Hope Community Presbyterian Church in Virginia. Pastor Frank Davis will officiate. A gathering time for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Spring Inurnment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery.
