Reverend Henry Arthur Dale, age 96 of Soudan, died Friday, My 1, 2026 in his home. Art was a classically trained pianist and a Lutheran Pastor serving 60 years in the ministry. He served Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Virginia, Calvary Lutheran Church in Orr, and Good Shepherd Lutheran in Wayzata. He served as an Interim Pastor in Bethlehem Luthern in Grand Marais; and as a Bridge Pastor in St. Mark’s Lutheran in Palo and Faith Lutheran in Hoyt Lakes. Art was awarded the Heritage Quilt Award by Lutheran Social Services for his Lifetime Achievement.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. om Friday, May 15, 2026 at Immanual Lutheran Church in Tower. Pastors Chuck Barnes and Sanna Reinholtzen will officiate. A Gathering time for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Clergy attending are requested to wear white.
