Obituary

            Joann Milanovich, age 84, of Minneapolis and formerly of Goodland died Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Catholic Elder Care in Minneapolis.  She was born in Goodland on January 20, 1939, the daughter of Louis and Jenny (Malkovich) Milanovich.  She was a graduate of Nashwauk High School.

            Joann worked in Washington DC and London doing secretarial work for the CIA.  Upon her return to Minnesota, she worked at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis.  She was a member of the Nashwauk United Methodist Church.  She loved animals and living in the northland.

            Joann is survived by Many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Nick and George; sisters Marion Coleman and Dolores Perry.

            A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm, Friday, September 1, 2023, at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel.  Greg Anderson will be the officiant.  Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
