Kenneth Arnold O’Brien died January 4, 2025.  He was born in Hibbing and attended Eveleth Gilbert High School and Mesabi Range Community College.  After he finished his military service in the Army, he worked in the construction industry.  In 2000 he married Roseann Marie Williams in Hibbing. 

He enjoyed fishing, camping and sports, especially the Vikings.  He had a great love of music, particularly playing the guitar. 

Kenneth is survived by his father: Ken “Butch” Wendlandt of Hibbing, MN; mother: Kathlean Anderson of Brooking, SD; sons:  Alexander of Duluth, MN, Nick of St Cloud, MN, and Andrew of Virginia, MN;  daughters:  Noelle of Red Lake, MN and Cassandra of Copperas Cove, TX;  10 Grandchildren; Brother: Shane of Waverly, MN; sisters: Shelly of Fort Wayne, IN and Shanna of Bemidji, MN. 

A private memorial service will be held by the family.
