Kristen Mae Sellman

Kristen Mae Sellman, age 34, of Hibbing and formerly Bovey, died Friday, April 10th, 2026. She was born September 23rd, 1991, in Fargo, ND, the daughter of Douglas “Doug” and Pamela “Pam” (Loland) Barsness. She was a graduate of Greenway High School, class of 2010.

            Kristen worked at Hibbing Walmart, as a Personal Care Aide, and Hibbing Public Schools Early Learning Center. She loved raising her four amazing children, who were her entire world. She enjoyed taking family trips, traveling, and long walks by the ocean.

            Kristen is survived by her husband: Cheyenne Sellman; her four kids: Cara, Ivan, Ella, Aria; Parents: Doug and Pam Barsness; Brother; Dale Barsness; Father-in-law: Richard K. Sellman, Jr.; and numerous extended family and friends.

            She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Peter Loland, Willard Barsness, Betty Barsness; her cousin: Betsy Peterson; Mother-in-law: Chanann Sellman; Sister-in-law: Ciara Sellman; and her Uncle: Chad Holm.

            Visitation will be from 5:00pm until the 7:00pm Funeral Service Friday, May 1st, 2026, at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel.   Pastor Brent Theien will officiate.
