It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Kristifer Simon Kirkman, 54, of Virginia.  He was born December 24, 1970, to John and Onalie (Koski) Kirkman in Virginia MN. Kristifer loved spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, and spending time with his beloved dogs, Scout & Sam.  He was employed at Fortune Bay Casino for many years, where he was like a brother to many and will be greatly missed.

Kris is survived by his mother: Onalie Koski; brother:  Travis Kirkman (Rachel Daniels); nieces & nephew: CallieJo Sanders, Cynthia June (JunieMoon) Kirkman, Cody Jon (CodyDoodle) Kirkman; aunts & uncle: Sandra Haiman, Dawn & Owney Koski; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: John O. Kirkman; grandparents: Onni & Orpha Koski; aunts: Audrey Mayry, Anita Haavisto, Joy Haavisto; and uncle: Ralph Koski. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held in April.
