Lee Brown

Lee Brown, age 80 of Virginia, died Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Essentia Health, Virginia.  He was born on July 23, 1943, in Virginia, the son of Harry A. and Marie E. Brown.  He was a lifelong Virginia resident.  He attended Marquette Catholic school, was a graduate of Virginia High School, and earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas College.  He worked as a CPA in Virginia, Aurora, and Hibbing.

Lee was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  He loved golfing with his buddies, listening to baseball on the radio, and downhill skiing.  He had a passion for architecture and was proud of the home he helped design in Idaho.  Lee volunteered in the community helping people in need. He was an avid reader and a lifelong learner.

Lee is survived by his cousins and many lifelong friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  Father Brandon Moravitz, celebrant.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Virginia.  Family services provided by Bauman-Cron, a Bauman Family Funeral Home in Virginia. 

Memorials are preferred to Marquette Catholic School.
