Marilyn Joan Sikich, age 93, lifelong resident of Hibbing, died Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing with family at her side.  She was born December 27, 1930, in Hibbing the daughter of James and Elsie (Crosley) Felton.  She was a graduate of Hibbing High School, and attended St. Scholastica.

            Marilyn worked as a homemaker, and then later in life worked in Radio Advertising Sales for WMFG in Hibbing.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Eagles Auxiliary, and the Hibbing Bridge Club.

            Marilyn is survived by her sons: Joseph David (Gabriela) Sikich of Bloomington, MN, and Mark James (Jeanne) Sikich of Elk River, MN; grandchildren: Jayson Sikich, Kalley (Ben) Leer, Timothy Sikich, Robert (Maggie) Sikich, and Scott (Kaitlin) Sikich; great-grandchildren: Timothy Sikich, Aidan Sikich, Gavin Leer and Landon Leer; numerous extended family members and friends.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son: Steven; and sister: Marjorie Welsh.

            A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Community Room of Real Life Co-Op (2020 3rd Avenue East, Hibbing, MN).  Memorials are preferred to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Inurnment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
