Mary Jean (Bauch) Moore age 91 of Virginia, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Essentia Health in Virginia. She was born on Dec. 14, 1934, to Herbert and Gertrude (Miesen) Bauch.
Mary was raised in Sanborn and moved to Virginia to work as a bookkeeper. She met Richard Moore at the Hob Nob Lounge in Virginia, and they were married on May 13, 1961. Mary worked as a playground attendant and as a lunchroom aide. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic church.
Mary lived a life filled with love, and devotion to her family. Her greatest joy in life was being a Mother and Grandmother. As a dedicated homemaker, she created an inviting home, where laughter and love thrived and her neighbors became family. Mary was known for her passions that included shopping and tending to her beloved garden. She found joy in the beauty of flowers, often bringing them into her home. She left an indelible mark on everyone who had the fortune to know her.
Mary is survived by her Children: Mike Moore of Virginia, and Lisa (Todd) Smith of St. Cloud; Grandchildren: Brett (Collette Loch) Smith, Jake (Tayler) Smith, Paul Rime, Patrick Rime, Elizabeth Rime, Abby (Nathan) Coldagelli, and Daniel Moore; and one Great-Grandchild on the way.
She is preceded in death by her husband Richard and daughter Lori Rime.
The Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 am.
