Molly Jean Poole, age 79, longtime resident of Virginia died Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Fairview Range Medical Center with family at her side.  She was born December 10, 1944, in Hibbing, MN, the daughter of Harvey and Teresa (McCauley) Miles.  She was a graduate of Hibbing High School.  Molly was united in marriage to Ron Poole on July 23, 1988, at the Sand Lake Chapel.

            Molly was a real estate agent with Culbert Realty.  She also worked for many years as a cashier at Piggly Wiggly and Super One in Virginia.  She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  Molly enjoyed traveling, flower gardening, cooking, and genealogy, but her grandsons filled her heart.

            Molly is survived by her husband: Ron; children: Michael (Claudia) Joelson of Eveleth, MN, and Kristin (Bruce) Tveit of Sartell, MN; sister: Rosemary Moilan of Virginia, MN; grandchildren: Ryan (fiancée Abby) Tveit, Kyle Tveit, and Christopher Joelson; and several nieces.  Molly was a friend to everyone she met.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother: James Miles.

            Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Mountain Iron Community Center Iroquois Room.  Deacon Dan Schultz will officiate.  Inurnment will be at a later date in the MN State Veterans Cemetery in Saginaw, MN.
