Nancy Jean Gatz, age 56, of Dickinson, ND, and formerly of Minnesota, died Monday, August 26, 2024, in Dickinson, ND.  She was born December 12, 1967, in Red Lake, MN, adopted by Carl and Barb Stromer.  She was a graduate of Anoka High School.

            Nancy loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and collecting frogs.

            Nancy is survived by her children: Natane (Ryan) Bartholow of Rockford, MN, Adam Christopher (Dakota) Collins, Sr., of Maplewood, MN, Anthony Gatz of Minneapolis, MN, and Ashley Gatz of Minneapolis, MN; 17 grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.

            She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents: Carl and Barb Stromer; her Significant Other: Kenneth Anderson; and her son: Joseph Anderson.

            The Wake will begin at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Nett Lake Tribal Center, and will continue until the Tribal Rites and Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024, also at the Nett Lake Tribal Center.  Interment will be in the Nett Lake Cemetery.
