Phyllis Isaacs passed away on February 9, 2026 with family by her side. She was born on August 19, 1945 in Wadena, Mn to Elmer and Ellen Patson.
Phyllis grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Minnesota to attend business school. She married her husband of 59 years Don Isaacs on January 7, 1967.
They made their home in Hibbing, Minnesota where they raised their two children. Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper and provided customer service for John’s Auto Body and Erickson Lumber.
She is preceded in death by her parents and infant brother Earl.
She is survived by husband of 59 years, Don; son Keith (Lisa) of Proctor and Karina (Tom) Palokangas of Hibbing. 3 grandchildren Shanna, Nolan, and Ian Isaacs. Sisters Arlene Bishop of Big Lake, Alaska; Nancy Patson of Anchorage, Alaska. Brothers Rodney (Beverly) of Anchorage, Alaska and Wayne (Judy) Patson of Appomattox, Virginia. Many nieces and nephews and a host of brothers and sisters in faith.
The family would like to thank Fairview Range Hospice and A Spirit of Home.
Visitation will be from 10:30. until the 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Cedar Valley Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church, 8038 County Road 508, Floodwood, Mn. Interment will be in the Cedar Valley Cemetery.
