Phyllis C. Johnson Obituary

Phyllis C. Johnson, age 74, longtime resident of Virginia, MN, died Friday, October 7, 2022, peacefully in her home.  She was born Sept. 29, 1948 in Virginia, the daughter of Philip and Katherine (Hall) Petersen.  She was a graduate of Virginia High School.  Phyllis was united in marriage to Kent A. Johnson on May 30, 1970, in Duluth. 


            Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper for the Arrowhead Library System for more than 30 years.


            She is survived by her husband: Kent; son: Thomas (fiancée Alyssa Mundle) Johnson; and two sisters: Judy (Dave) Klima, and Nancy (Rory) King.


            A private service will be held.  Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Virginia.
