Scott Allen Arnberg Obituary

Scott Allen Arnberg, 63, of Virginia, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 18, 2024. He was born in Cherry Point, NC on Sept 7, 1960. As a child he traveled around the country with his military family before settling in the Britt and Virginia areas of Northern MN.

Scott attended Central H.S in Duluth, MN, and Roosevelt H.S in Virginia, MN. He was employed by Staver Foundry in Virginia and retired from Lakehead Constructors. Scott was also a member of the U.S. Army National Guard.

Scott enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, camping, and all things outdoors.
He spent a great deal of his time entertaining and in the company of friends and family. He was normally found around the BBQ cooking every summer.


Scott is preceded in death by his father, Roger Arnberg. He is survived by his mother, Elayne Arnberg, his wife, Cris Arnberg, daughters, Kacera and Katrina Arnberg, stepchildren Jackie Pleasha and TJ Hannuksela, grandchildren Laila Clark and Sydney Nelson, step grandchildren Joshua Bruner and Amaiyah Nilsson, brothers Ted (Cynthia), Robin, Chris (Carrie), and Dan. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.


Scott was very fortunate to keep company on a regular basis with good friends, Nicholas Richards, Bill Rounsiville, Tom Trucano, and many others.

Scott will be missed by his family and friends.  A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, May 24th at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home in Virginia, MN. A visitation will begin at 12:00 followed by a 1:00 service.
