Shirley Ann (Hall) Bjellos Obituary

Shirley (Hall) Bjellos passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, surrounded by her family.  Shirley was born on July 7, 1936, in Pool Location (Hibbing, MN) and lived there until she graduated from Hibbing High School in 1954.  Shirley attended Hibbing Junior college, which is when she met her husband, Michael.  They exchanged marriage vows on September 19, 1957.  Shirley was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Nashwauk.


            Shirley is survived by her beloved husband: Michael; her children: Mary Beth (Gary) Porter, Michele Tarbuck, Sally (Russell) Lehman, Michael Jr. (Amy) Bjellos, and Sara (Brian) Hood.  She adored her 8 grandchildren: Jeffrey Smith, James (Samantha) Tarbuck, Sylvia, George, and Max Bjellos, and Levi, Samuel, and Elizabeth Stottler.  She was blessed with 4 great-grandchildren who brought her much joy: Aria, Declan, and Claire Smith, and Avery Tarbuck.  She is also survived by her sister: Judy Wilmot; and sisters-in-law: Patricia Welte and Elaine Bjellos.


            Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Levi and Helen Hall; her siblings: Lawrence, Vernon, and Dorothy Hall; and her son-in-law: David Tarbuck.


            Shirley requested a private family service which will be held at a later date.
