Tammy Kay Donaldson, age 64, longtime resident of Biwabik, died Monday, July 29, 2024, at Essentia Health – St. Mary’s in Duluth. She was born February 20, 1960, in Grand Rapids, MN, the daughter of John M and Mary E. (Glover) Ploof. Tammy was united in marriage to Patrick H. Donaldson on April 1, 2008, in Las Vegas, NV.
Tammy worked in healthcare as a CNA and held other positions as well. She was an artist who enjoyed painting and making jewelry, and she enjoyed fishing.
Tammy is survived by her husband: Patrick; children: Darren (Amanda) Manick of Kenosha, WI, Brian (Jeanette) Manick of Blaine, MN, and Sarah (Adam) Nelson of Oshkosh, WI; a sister: Bev Rowland of Lake George, MN; grandchildren: Wyatt, Henry, Lilly, Carter, Bennett, and Vivian; and numerous extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: son: Terry Alan Manick (1981), sister: Teresa; and brothers: Steve and Gary.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia.
