Thomas Allen Pawlikowski Obituary

Thomas Allen Pawlikowski, age 78 of Lake Vermilion – Tower died Monday June 16, 2025 in Essentia-St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born August 28, 1946 in Superior, Wisconsin, the son of Walter and Margaret (DeBrune) Pawlikowski. Tom was a graduate of Superior Cathedral High School and the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a double major and a minor. He enlisted in the Army National Guard and worked at the USS Steel Plant in Duluth while earning his degrees. Tom married Sharon Nelson in 1967.  They moved to Eveleth when Tom was transferred to Minntac after the Duluth Steel Plant closed. They eventually moved to Lake Vermilion – Tower.


Tome is survived by his wife of 58 years: Sharon; sons: Alan of Mountain Iron and Neal (Trisha) of Virginia; grandsons: Neal Jr. and Max; great-grandchildren: Jude David and Charlee Mae; sisters:  Julie (Doug) Toms, Mary Jo (Mike) Palmowski, and Betty Kay Pawlikowski; nieces, nephews, extended Family and Friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Walter and James.


The Family would like to express their eternal gratitude to Essentia Health for his care. At the time of his passing, Tom was living at Diamond Willow. Our thanks goes out to them for his wonderful care.


A private, family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
