Vernon John Bushey, age 64 of Virginia died Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in Essentia-St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born January 23,1962 in Grand Rapids, the son of Ramond and Bonnie (Schultz) Bushey and grew up in Mountain Iron. He was a longtime employee at the Village Inn. Vern loved playing bingo at the Elk’s Lodge, and was the life of the party.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Vern is survived by siblings: Kenneth Bushey of Virginia, Raymond (Linda) Bushey, Jr. of California, Katherine Bushey of Virginia, Darlene (Randy) Robertson of Virginia, and James Bushey of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Bonnie Bushey; siblings: Dale (Deb) Bushey, Lois Bushey and Carl Bushey.

The Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home in Virginia. A gathering time for family and friends will begin at 2:30 p.m.
