William Vincent “Bill” Rebarich, age 50 of Embarrass, died Sunday, June 30, 2024 in an unexpected scuba diving accident on Crane Lake. He was born January 19, 1974 in Valapraiso, IN, the son of William and Clara (Ochipint) Rebarich. He married Nancy Niloff on July 13, 1996 in Valpraiso, IN. They moved to Embarrass in 2000.
Bill was employed by Northshore Mining as a Railroad Maintenance Mechanic, worked for the OHV Park for 5 years, worked in Forestry, and also worked part-time at Neighbors BBQ. He attended North Star church in Virginia, and the Evangelical Free church in Embarrass. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a lifetime member of the Minnesota Trappers Association. He loved the beach, the water, and SCUBA diving. He had a servant’s heart, always willing to help friends and neighbors, and was a jack of all trades.
Bill is survived by his wife: Nancy; children: Colton and Kaitlyn, both of Embarrass; sibling: Thea (Bill) Ray of Embarrass; father: William Rebarich of Embarrass; niece and nephew: Lindsey (Michael) Irelan, and Jeremy (Samantha Kyger) Ray; great-niece and nephew: Cameron and Aleah Irelan; several close cousins, extended family and friends; and his beloved cats: Popcorn and Mei Mei.
Bill was preceded in death by his mom: Clara Rebarich.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Embarrass. A visitation will begin one hour before the funeral. A private family burial will follow at the Embarrass Cemetery. Pastors Marlin Bjornrud and Sean Scarbrough will officiate.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
